The Vero Beach Italian American Civic Association is popularly known as “The Italian American Club.” Founded in 1958, we are a member-operated social club, celebrating Italian culture and fine food.
Our story began years ago.
Our Italian grandparents had social clubs in their neighborhoods where they would congregate, socialize, eat pasta together, and enjoy local entertainment. Friendships were forged, perhaps over a shared bottle of Chianti. Our club continues that tradition with Wednesday dinner, Thursday game night, and Friday pizza. Once or twice each month we have special themed dinner dances, often with live music and deluxe dinners.
Now, our story is our members.
Our all-volunteer chefs love to create the same Italian specialties as their parents and grandparents enjoyed back in Italy. The sauce cooks all day. The pizza dough is made from scratch. The fresh basil is homegrown. We want you to come back again and again.
Our members are of all ages and from all walks of life. We have members who are not Italian, and they come for the authentic Italian food and the camaraderie. So if your heritage is not Italian, that’s fine! We’d love to see you. Pay us a visit and “check us out.”
